Site Manager – Tuam & Ennis
Please note: This role will require full flexibility to travel between both sites, Tuam & Ennis.

As Site Manager you will have overall responsibility for a specific site, typically a large scale project. You are the construction leader on the ground who is responsible for managing the overall day to day supervision of the construction site. You will monitor the preparation of the site prior to project launch and oversee the safe and efficient operation of the site throughout the construction phases, start to finish.

You will be:

  • Working closely with the onsite team including subcontractors, engineers, management, and more coordinating and managing all activities onsite
  • Planning and overseeing the site setup, ensuring that the appropriate facilities are in place prior to the project launch
  • Taking ownership for ensuring that HSEQS protocols are adhered to on sites at all times
  • Maintaining quality control procedures at all time, reporting to the Regional Director

You will have:

  • Flexibility to travel
  • Completed a third level qualification
  • 5+ years of experience in construction management, well rounded with civils and fit out experience
  • Knows the quality standard required for a successful fit out
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with experience managing key stakeholder relationships

Site Engineer | Tier 1 Contractor | Ennis & Tuam

Setting out Engineer – West Ennis & Tuam
This position will be working between sites and would require flexibility
Project duration: 18 months plus

Responsible for setting-out the site and dimensional controls in accordance with the relevant contract Drawings, Specification and Site Surveys.
Is tasked with reviewing construction outputs and planning the most efficient sequence of operations with an emphasis on control of the works, quality and technical advice. The Engineer will carry out their work in accordance with company standard procedures and discharge their duties as listed in the  Safety Statement/Policy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set out works in accordance with drawings, specifications, and site surveys.
  • Raises RFI’s and resolves technical issues with employer’s representatives, suppliers, subcontractors and statutory authorities.
  •  Liaises with company or project purchasing department to ensure that purchase orders adequately define the specified requirements.
  • Inputs into specific elements of the Inspection and Test Plans, and ensures that our supply chain provide test data to back up the contract technical requirements
  • Sets up drawing register and ensures that the Sub-contractor is using the latest version of the contract record drawings & specifications, whilst ensuring that they are technically coordinated.

Experience & Skills:

  • At least 2 years post qualification experience with good knowledge of the sector or experience in a project-based organisation.
  • Articulate and numerate, capable of delivering reports verbally and written in an objective and persuasive manner.
  • Can demonstrate initiative and resilience.
  • Displays good interpersonal and communication skills and acts in an independent and professional manner.

This position will be working on a Tipperary based project.

This Top Tier 1 Contractor are delighted to be working on an extensive project enhancing the hustle and bustle of Galway City where, as an experienced Senior Engineer, you will be working on exciting and innovative projects whilst utilising innovative MMC and processes to ensuring the highest possible efficiency and quality.

You must be able to travel and work onsite each day, there is no hybrid or remote work available for this position.

You will be:

  • Responsible for the planning, coordination and supervision of technical aspects throughout the project
  • Working closely with key stakeholders including clients, sub-contractors, suppliers and more
  • Ensuring the delivery of key project deadlines in budget and in line with all regulatory and internal health, safety and environmental guidelines

Site Engineer | Developer | Dublin

Job Title: Site Engineer
Department: Construction
Report to: Project Manager

Job Purpose:
The purpose of this role is to provide support to all internal and external stakeholders through design, scheduling, construction activities, quality, cost, and documentation collation.

Key Roles and Responsibilities
• Support the Site Manager/Project Manager to ensure the full project scope that is in place is managed through to project completion.
• Good knowledge of house building and infrastructure works.
• Competent in setting out and use of various total station and GPS equipment.
• Use of AutoCAD essential for uploading as-builts and measuring monthly valuations.
• Knowledge of Bcar & Irish Water document submissions.
• Liaise with design consultants, subcontractors, supervisors, planners, in house quantity surveyors in reviewing monthly valuations.
• Assume day-to-day management of the site technical & engineering requirements (RFIs, Submittals, Shop Drawings, Design Team Workshops, etc.).
• Ensure quality control measures on the site are implemented and are in line with the overall BCAR plan for the project.
• Build relationships with the team (sub-contractors and direct) to identify risks and opportunities.
• Ensure safety and compliance standards are maintained to the highest possible.

The ideal candidate should possess the following.
• Hold relevant construction/engineering qualification.
• Practical and theoretical knowledge of Health, Safety and Environmental workings.
• 4+years as a site engineer with experience which includes enabling works, groundworks, site development works and quality control on large-scale residential developments projects in a similar role
• Use of AutoCAD and a document control management system (Procore, Zutec) is essential.
• Knowledge of the Bcar process specific to housing.
• Irish Water Safety File collating.
• Ability to work on own initiative.
